Ganesh N Prabhu is Professor of Strategy at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. His areas of research and teaching are product innovation, strategy, qualitative research methods and entrepreneurship. He has published in top journals like the Academy of Management Review, Research Policy and International Journal of Human Resource Management.

He does sessions on business strategy and product innovation and has conducted top management programs as well as led several top management team visioning workshops. He has taught as guest faculty in India and abroad. He was a nominated member of India Design Council for three years and has consulted for the National Dairy Development Board and HMT Limited. Prior to his doctoral studies he was Executive Assistant to Managing Director of the Punjab Milk Federation for a year on a major turn around project.

Soumya Sarkar

Soumya Sarkar is currently an Assistant Professor of Marketing in IIM Ranchi where he teaches Marketing Management, B2B Marketing and Sports & Entertainment Marketing. He has also taught in IIM Udaipur and Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar. He has published papers in international peer-reviewed journals in branding and popular culture.

Prior to this, his career of 14 years was spent in industrial marketing covering marketing, sales, research & development, and manufacturing in a global leader of welding products. He has managed the product management function of two different product lines, interfaced with field sales team for marketing inputs, interfaced with R&D for product development exercises, and had handled end-to- end brownfield expansion and operations of an independent manufacturing line.
